Bishop Vanessa Everett

Vanessa Everett was born and raised in Newark, NJ. She attended Newark Public Schools and received her formal education at Essex County College, Rutgers University, Deliverance Bible Institute, and graduated United Christian Bible College with a certificate in Counseling, Bachelor of Theology, Master of Religious Education, and has an honorary Doctorate Degree in Religion. She is Certified as a Mediator, Life Coach (certificate), and is a Notary Signing Agent.
Vanessa Everett accepted the Lord as a child under the ministry of the late Apostle Arturo Skinner, where she grew to love, and serve the Lord, and was active in the Youth Department of the Deliverance Ministry. She ushered, sang in the choir, and was appointed as one of the prayer leaders of the Youth Department.
On June 6, 1976, Bishop Vanessa Everett, and the late Bishop James H Everett, II founded the Deliverance Jesus Is Coming Association and began fulfilling and continuing the calling to reach out to the communities of the world with the message of salvation from the Lord. Pastors and ministers have been mentored, ministered to, and inspired from the teaching and preaching of Bishop Vanessa.
In 1995, Bishop Vanessa was ordained Elder/Pastor. In June of 2018, Apostolic Succession was bestowed on her life by Bishop James H. Everett, II at which time she assumed the position of Overseer and Senior Pastor.
April 2, 2022, Bishop Vanessa was consecrated a Bishop in the Lord's church and continues to serve as senior pastor of Deliverance Jesus Is Coming Church and Association, Inc.
The heartbeat of Bishop Vanessa's ministry at Jesus Is Coming has been to lead the people of God by teaching, preaching, and doing whatever her hands find to do as a servant of the Lord. She has filled many roles in the ministry; administrator of their Christian Day School Maranatha Christian Academy from 1979 to 1992; and administrator for the church. She has conducted workshops and seminars, and offers pastoral counseling to unwed mothers, married couples, and singles. In addition, she continues to minister the gospel, as well as lead pastors, participating churches, ministers, and elders.
Bishop Vanessa married the late Bishop James H, Everett II in November 1972 and is the mother to Solange, grandmother to James Xavier, Azjah Dale, and SoMiyah Skye.
